AETS consortium has been entrusted by the Consumers, Health and Food Executive Agency (CHAFEA) to organise a series of regional training workshops on Food Safety, Plant Health, Animal Health and Welfare. The next workshop, organized by Agriconsulting Europe will be held during 01-04 July in Izmir, Turkey for around 40 participants from different countries.
This workshop aims to give a global vision on animal welfare during transport and at slaughterhouse. The EU is the largest importer of feed ingredients in the world. For this workshop, we will have the great pleasure to receive five highly expertise professionals from the EU whose first objectives will be to support the participants in their efforts towards the EU approach and policies on animal welfare (during transport and at slaughterhouse and its impact on the meat quality).
The target groups will be officials from competent authorities responsible for animal welfare during transport and at slaughterhouse. Please note that for their best interest, the participants should have relevant experience in this field.
Furthermore, participants should have a good level of English in order to participate efficiently to the workshop.
