Better Training for Safer Food
Better Training for Safer Food is a Commission- DG Health and Consumers training initiative covering food and feed law, animal health and welfare and plant health rules. It trains Member State, candidate country national authority staff involved in official controls in these areas as well as private sector competent staff.
In the framework of the programme, AETS is leading seven training and technical assistance projects on EU food standard for third countries, health prevention and control of aquaculture animals, food hygiene and controls, RASFF-Traces, additives use and controls, food testing, and Support to Union Control.
These projects are conducted in partnership with AINIA, AENOR, AESA, JVL, FVI.
Agriconsulting Europe (AESA) is leading three training and technical assistance projects on Food of Non Animal Origin (FNAO), TRACES EU and Emerging Animal Disease.
These projects are conducted in partnership with AINIA, VWA, AETS and AENOR.
Asociación Española de Normalización y Certificación (AENOR) is leading one training project on Audits of Systems and Internal Auditing.
This project is conducted in partnership with VWA, FVI, AETS and AINIA.
France Vétérinaire International (FVI) is leading one training project on Veterinary Medecine Residues.
This project is conducted in partnership with AETS, AENOR and USKVBL
In addition, AETS and FVI are associated with IZS Teramo (Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale dell’ Abruzo e del Molise) to develop modules for eleaning solutions under Better Training for Safer Food.
