BTSF Presentation
Better Training for Safer Food Better Training for Safer Food is a Commission- DG Health and Consumers training initiative covering food and feed law, animal health and welfare and plant health rules. It trains Member State, candidate country national authority staff involved in official controls in these areas as well as private sector competent staff.

Contract CHAFEA 2014 96 02: Organisation and implementation of training activities on inspection and calibration of pesticide application equipment in professional use under the Netter Training for Safer Food Initiative.

Movements of Dogs and Cats - 2017-2019
2016 96 03 - Organisation of training sessions on Control of movements of dogs and cats, i.e. intra-Union trade, imports and non-commercial movements under the Better Training for Safer Food initiative.

Food Composition & Information 2017-2019
The contract (CHAFEA) n°2016 96 08 - Organisation and implementation of training activities on the EU rules on general food labelling and claims as well as on specific categories of foods such as food supplements, foods with added vitamins and minerals and foods for specific groups of the population under the “Better Training for Safer Food”:

Food Additives, Flavouring & Enzymes
Contract: EAHC 2013 96 04 - Organisation and implementation of training activities on food additives, flavourings and enzymes under BTSF – PHASE II. In 2016-2017, twelve four days training sessions will be organised in Ireland, Spain, Greece, Germany and Estonia. This programme about the EU approach for the evaluation, authorisation, monitoring and control of food additives, flavourings and enzymes includes new practical-oriented features to facilitate the understanding of the legislation and its enforcement.

BTSF World - Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS)
Contract: (CHAFEA) 2016 96 10 Organisation and implementation of training activities in non-EU countries to improve and strengthen the Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) framework to allow better production, processing and trade of safe food, healthy animals and plants under the "Better Training for Safer Food" initiative.
